Tweed Heads Civic Precinct Master Plan | Tweed Heads Bowling Club

Capital Insight assisted the Tweed Heads Bowls Club in reviewing options for the development of the Club’s land, undertaking a feasibility study of options, providing a recommendation on a forward direction and develop an implementation approach considering partnership opportunities and project risks.

The NSW Government had sponsored an Economic Development Plan for the Tweed Heads Town Centre, which led to the development of a Tweed Heads Master Plan. This Master Plan covered the land owned by the Tweed Heads Bowls Club within the Civic Precinct, together with land owned by Tweed Shire Council, Southern Cross University, Tweed Hospital and an adjoining church. A prime objective of the Civic Centre Precinct component of the Master Plan is the creation of an integrated civic environment maximising the benefits of increased patronage to the precinct of all land owners.

Capital Insight assisted the Tweed Heads Bowls Club in firstly establishing and developing their requirements and secondly, in the development of a Civic Precinct specific Masterplan that identified development opportunities and guidelines.
