Acquisitions - Residential | Housing NSW

As part of the Commonwealth Government's Nation Building and Jobs Program, Capital Insight was engaged to identify, conduct due diligence and then acquire existing dwellings (budgeted $100 million) in western Sydney and northern NSW. This was a time critical role to enable tenant relocations to occur so that redevelopment of existing Housing NSW sites could take place. Our role encompassed review and interpretation of the client brief and interaction with property vendors and agents including the use of media advertising to ensure all options were considered. Completed acquisitions included multi storey Sydney metropolitan apartment blocks and single dwelling homes in the regions. Capital Insight’s role was extended to incorporate the management of pre-identified upgrade works to each property acquired.
