Tenant Representation | The University of New South Wales Capital Insight was recently engaged by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to represent tis interests in the market for 2,000 square metres of office space in the Sydney CBD and fringe. Our role involved preparation of an accommodation brief and qualitative and quantitative assessment of various locations that met the key brief criteria. We subsequently negotiated the commercial and legal terms of the lease and ensure these were reflected in the lease documentation.
The Property Advisory Team worked close with the Project Manager (also from Capital Insight) to deliver the client's fit out to present a unified front and and allow seamless co-ordination of timing and operational issues in lease documentation. The integration was evident to and valued by the client, in particular with our adherence to the overall budget and responsiveness to client brief changes. Capital Insight negotiated for UNSW a below-market rental deal, lease extension flexibility and series of lease term and condition concessions. |
