ANZAC Research Institute | ANZAC Health and Medical Research Foundation

Capital Insight was Project Director and Project Manager for the procurement of a $6 million research facility, located on the Concord Repatriation General Hospital campus.

As the only major independent biomedical research institute with a primary focus on ageing, the ANZAC Research Institute aims to coordinate the highest quality innovative research at all levels from public and population health, to clinical research, molecular physiology as well as cell and molecular biology.

The 2500 square metre single level facility consists of four wet laboratories, dry education and research areas, administration offices and an animal house. A key feature of the laboratory design was the focus on modular design that allows for maximum flexibility of configuration as the unpredictable new scientific technologies of the future will demand.  The innovative design has become a standard for the economy and efficiency in modern biological scientific laboratories.

Capital Insight successfully managed the design, construction and delivery of this state-of-the art medical research facility under tight timeframes and budgets within complex environments, comprising multiple stakeholders.
